Africa Board Ready Women is a social enterprise founded by Africa Women Lead! and Amrop Landelahni, Africa member of the global Amrop executive search group.

Africa requires a focused effort in raising the profile of women at board level. Africa Board Ready Women provides the vehicle to identify those women skilled and ready to serve on boards across the continent.

Based on the concept of the Global Board Ready Women initiative, Africa Board Ready Women draws into one easy-to-use database the hidden talent that exists across the continent.

Our objective is to create a list of African women who meet stringent corporate governance criteria and are well-qualified and ready – today – to serve on a board of directors of public or private companies.
